Report Period: September 4th – September 10th

Number of Cases* within report period: 1,505

Total Number of Cases*: 7,457

* Accounts that have taken part in RMT activities, such as the use of fraudulent tools, RMT (Real Money Trading) companies, and/or purchase of Meseta from RMT companies, transfer of accounts, lending, borrowing, acts of in-game nuisance, etc. are included in this number. Accounts that have violated the Terms of Use in other ways are also included in this number.

What is RMT (Real Money Trading)?

Real Money Trading, or RMT, is defined as any act that includes buying and/or selling game data, such as Meseta, with cash from an external site that has no relation with SEGA. SEGA and/or the “PSO2” Live Ops team are not involved in these transactions. Buying and selling in-game data through RMT is also strictly prohibited within the Terms of Use; the acceptance of which is required in order to play PSO2.

We would also like to note that there is the possibility of involvement in actual criminal activity through the purchase of Meseta from these RMT sites, e.g. cases where Meseta was stolen from another player through unauthorized access to their account. Due to this, we strongly warn players not to get involved with RMT.

Ceding, and/or lending accounts

“PSO2” is only available to the person who initially created the account. Never loan or transfer your account, even to a close friend, let alone a third party. If any of these actions are confirmed to have occurred with your account, your account will be subject to permanent suspension for violation of the Terms of Use. Please be careful.

In-game Acts of Nuisance

If it is determined that you have maliciously repeated nuisance behavior, such as “intentionally hindering the progress of another player” or “repeatedly and intentionally not participating during fights,” you are in violation of the Terms of Use and will be subject to the permanent suspension of your account.

Please refer to the Terms of Use for more acts that count as acts of nuisance.

In regards to PSO2, we will do our best to enact countermeasures against those who perpetrate dishonest acts so that normal players can enjoy the game. We appreciate your cooperation!
